Circle of Friends Candleholder

An unusual clay candleholder, thought to be of Mexican origin. Consisting of seven crudely sculpted men with their arms around each other, symbolizing the unbroken circle of friendship.

An ancient native legend says that at the end of the evening, friends would gather around a bonfire and share their hearts. They would speak of the good qualities of each other and remember times shared. As the embers faded their friendship was said to be sealed anew, bringing them closer together.

Smaller items that are delivered within the UK are charged at a standard fee per item which is added on at the checkout. For delivery outside of the UK, please fill out the 'request a delivery quote' form before ordering.

For larger items, delivery is not automatically added at the checkout and will depend on the size and weight of the item and it's destination.

We deliver throughout the UK and internationally, and only use couriers and shipping companies who are experienced in handling antiques. We make sure every purchase is delivered safe and secure as part of our service. All items are fully insured until safely delivered for both UK and international shipments

Our packing and shipping day for larger items is Friday and all orders received during a week will be collected by the courier on the Friday of that week. Smaller items will be posted throughout the week.

Collection in person can be made from our selling space at Worth Valley Antiques Centre, Farrahs Sawmills,
Park Lane, Keighley BD21 4US. Open 7 days a week.

To buy an item, you can either purchase online via the product page, or purchase in person at Worth Valley Antiques Centre, Farrahs Sawmills, Park Lane, Keighley BD21 4US

You can also request an invoice to be emailed to you. The invoice can be paid in a number of ways; online via link on the invoice, bank transfer, cheque or cash. Payments can only be accepted in Pounds Sterling and payment must be made (and cleared) before an items is shipped.

Payments may be made by Paypal and will be subject to a 4% charge due to high transaction charges.

Much of our stock is vintage, antique or salvage, which means it has had a previous life and may not be in perfect condition. We do our best to make sure the photography and description of all our items are an honest reflection of their condition and we are always happy to discuss the item prior to purchase.

However we do understand that an item may not be what you expected so we make returning an item as simple as possible.

You need to inform us within 48 hours of delivery if you wish to return an item. We will arrange collection and the cost will be the same as the delivery cost.

As long as the item is returned in the same condition as it left us, a refund will be issued within 4 days of it arriving back with us. The refund will be minus the original delivery and collection costs

We are mainly an online business, but if you don't want to purchase online we have a selling space at the Worth Valley Antiques Centre, Farrahs Sawmills, Park Lane, Keighley BD21 4US, where our items can viewed and purchased in person.

For anyone wanting more information before purchasing online we can arrange a video call where we can walk you round an item and answer any questions.
